General Information
Youth soccer is split into 3 seasons, Spring, Fall and Winter.
Spring: Registration is in January. The Spring season starts in late April and the games run until mid-June. There are normally 2 practices per week and one game on the weekend. All games are played outdoors at the Spider Lake Soccer Complex in DuBois.
Fall: Registration is in late July through early August. The practices start the day after Labor Day and the games run until the end of October. In the Fall there normally is only one practice per week and one game on the weekend. All games are played outdoors.
Winter: Registration for the winter season is the month of December. There are no practices during the week with games on Saturdays or Sundays, starting the second weekend in January. Games are played indoors at the YMCA or Central Catholic High School.
Age Groups: Kids are put into 2-year age groups from which the teams are made. The first age group is U-6, you then you move up to the next age group, which is U-8. This trend continues with U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and lastly U-18.
Equipment: Kids are required to have Shin-Guards for every practice and games. Spikes are good to have but not required. Jerseys are provided for each team, and kids are encouraged to wear black shorts and socks with their jersey. No watches, necklaces, ring Earrings, sunglasses or hats are permitted. Kids in the Older age groups (U-10 and up) must bring a ball to practice.
Cost: The cost per person is published prior to beginning of each registration.
