Travel soccer is split into 2 seasons, Spring and Fall.
Spring: Tryouts are held in February. The Spring season starts in late March and the games run until mid-June. All games are played outdoors.
Fall: Tryouts are held in late July through early August. The Fall season starts in August and the games run through October. All games are played outdoors.
Regional Game Locations: The teams play 4 home and 4 away games. Away games are at towns like Clearfield, Lock Haven, Altoona, Hollidaysburg, State College and Bedford.
Documentation: Additional documentation is required for each child to prove his / her age. When registering, you must send in a copy of your birth certificate and a small 1”x 1” picture.
Practice Schedule & Coaching Philosophy: Travel coaches are permitted to have unlimited practices and have no restrictions on playing time given to an individual player. Each ASD are teams representing our club on a regional basis and are playing competitively to win.
Equipment: Players are required to purchase a Club Travel Jersey. Players are also required to have Shin-Guards for every practice and game. Spikes are a necessity. Players are required to wear black shorts and socks of any type with their jersey. Players must bring a ball and Water bottle to each practice. No watches, necklaces, ring Earrings, sunglasses or hats are permitted.
Travel Team Information
The DuBois Soccer Association fields Advanced Skill Development (ASD) Travel Teams in the U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16/18 age groups for both Boys and Girls. These teams are for the more serious player and those who want more out of the game. These teams are chosen from tryouts and play a much more competitive schedule against other western Pennsylvania teams.
